JKSRTC Control Rooms both at Regional Headquarters Srinagar and Jammu functions through out the day and carry out the following functions:

i.                     Assistance to Commuters/ Clients regarding services, timings and fares.

ii.                   Collection of information regarding Operative/Detained fleet.

iii.                  Information regarding Scheduled Departures/Actual Departures .

iv.                 Collection of information regarding Revenue generated/ Target.

v.                   Missed Trips/ Routs.

vi.                 Breakdown/Accidents.

vii.                Collection of demands for Trucks/Tourist Fleet Vehicles/Availability and acceptance of demand.

viii.              Service-wise seats offered and passengers carried each day against target.

ix.                 Confirmation regarding timely functioning of all Depots/Workshops to management on day to day basis.

x.                   Analysis of  various reports including daily detention statement, Vehicle log sheet, revolving fund utilization statement, Vehicle Journey Sheet, Daily Deployment of fleet, Vehicle-wise Statement and Crew-wise performance.

xi.                 Any other function assigned from time to time by Managing Director/ Senior Management.
